We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team. Taking an interdisciplinary approach to understanding the customer’s requirements, you will flow those requirements to the design team, verify and validate the requirements in the final system, support procurement of parts to industry standards, and produce associated documentation.

 

We are looking for candidates that meet the following profile:

 

    • Due to security requirements, must be a Canadian or US citizen, or a permanent resident of Canada, and will be required to provide a criminal record check as a condition of employment.
    • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent with a strong academic record.
    • Experience in requirements engineering, design, development, engineering analysis, integration, and test.
    • Knowledge and experience in the design, analysis, integration, and test of space systems is an asset.
    • Ability to generate clear and detailed technical documents, including design specifications, test procedures, and technical reports/presentations.
    • Ability to interface technically with hardware, firmware, and software team members.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interfacing with customers and working within a multi-disciplinary team of scientific, engineering, manufacturing, and management personnel.
    • Experience with quality management and/or product assurance is an asset.
    • Must be self‐motivated, organized, receptive to constructive feedback, and able to learn quickly on a continuous basis.
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite of tools; experience with requirements management software tools is an asset.
    • Candidate must be able to travel internationally and autonomously.
