As we grow, we’re looking for an innovative Electronics Engineer/Designer. If you are driven by challenges and the desire to innovate and create, this is an exciting opportunity to expand your skills and elevate your career.

 

In this role, you will support a range of R&D activities, including product development and product support.  You will design, prototype, and test digital and analog electronics; perform schematic design and electronic layout of circuit cards; and troubleshoot at both the circuit card and system level. You will continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.

 

We are looking for candidates that meet the following profile:

    • Due to security requirements, must be a Canadian or US citizen, or a permanent resident of Canada, and will be required to provide a criminal record check as a condition of employment.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, a related Engineering discipline, or equivalent.
    • 5+ years of practical hardware design experience preferred.
    • Open to strong applications from new graduates.
    • Experience in analog and high-speed electronics.
    • Experience in digital/FPGA design is an asset.
    • Proficient in the use of design tools (such as Altium) and circuit simulators.
    • Knowledge of PCB layout, including high-speed design and EMI control principles, is an asset.
    • Excellent hands-on skills for troubleshooting at both the circuit card and system level.
    • Proficient with logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and microcontroller debuggers.
    • Able to generate clear and detailed technical documents, including design specifications, test procedures, quality documents, and technical reports/presentations.
    • Driven and motivated self-starter with a keen interest to learn.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team of scientific, engineering, manufacturing, and management personnel.
    • Results-oriented team player who leads by example and takes ownership of their responsibilities.
    • Candidate must be able to travel internationally and autonomously.
